**TERMS AND CONDITIONS A&M WINDOWS**

This document contains all terms and conditions between us A&M Windows and you (the purchaser). We do not intend to provide any goods or services not described.
You, the purchaser, are entitled to cancel this agreement before the end of the seventh day from date of agreement by email to your survey sheet. In order to cancel you must send notice in writing to A&M Windows. Should an order be placed at any of our outlets there will be no cancellation period.
**WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY**
- **Standard of Work:**
The company should ensure the work is performed with reasonable care and skill, adhering to industry standards, ensuring dust sheets are put down, and all care taken to minimise mess.
- **Damage:**
The company is responsible for any damage to the property caused during the installation, which should be rectified at no extra cost to the customer. We do require customer to clear away any curtains, blinds etc. and all nearby furniture, we will not repair or replace any items damaged that were not removed. We accept no responsibility for the safety on any person, pets or other animals within work area.
- **Glass Quality:**
While glass should be of good quality, the company may not be liable for minor imperfections or blemishes that are inherent to the manufacturing process or are not guaranteed by the glass manufacturer.
1. All glass used is the best available, but glass manufacturers will not give a guarantee covering minor imperfections and therefore A&M Windows Glass & Glazing Ltd cannot be held liable for any such imperfections. Glass manufacturers guarantees do not cover cracked or shattered sealed units.
2. Our double glazed units are designed to reduce heat loss. The fitting of double glazing will not eliminate condensation. This is dependant upon the environment within the dwelling. We are unable to guarantee or warranty that double glazing will reduce or eliminate condensation.
- **Toughened Glass:**
Toughened glass used in doors, conservatories, etc., is prone to inherent imperfections, and the company may not be liable for these.
- **Design Variations:**
Stain and bevel designs in glass are individually created and may vary slightly, so the company may not guarantee to match existing colours or designs exactly.
**WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES**
- **Product Guarantee:**
A product guarantee typically comes into effect after full payment is received and the work is completed.
- **Guarantee Period:**
Guarantees often cover specific periods for different components, such as sealed units, door panels, locks, hinges, and moving parts.
- **Manufacturer's Warranty:**
The company may uphold the manufacturer's warranty for product failures, potentially replacing goods free of charge (excluding labor).

Companies registered with FENSA are compliant with thermal performance standards, ensuring energy efficiency.
**PAYMENT AND WASTE DISPOSAL**
- **Payment Terms:**
Payment invoices should be paid in full and upon receipt, and payment methods may include bank transfer, cash, or cheque.
- **Removal of Existing Windows/Doors:**
The company may not be responsible for ensuring that existing windows, doors, and frames can be removed for reuse, and they will be removed and disposed of unless instructed otherwise.
- **Waste Disposal:**
The company is responsible for properly disposing of all waste resulting from the installation.
